Beginning June 1, 2001 IMI stepped in to the Billboard Top 10 Sales charts and basically has not left since that week, logging in 750 weeks with various music written, created and produced by Steve Ivey. During this time IMI reached the #1 spot 17 times. The various chart categories on Billboard include holiday, comedy, bluegrass, folk, black gospel and country.

IMI is an award winning company, creating and recording music in many genres. IMI has been #1 on the Billboard charts 17 times, remained in the Billboard Top 10 for over 300 weeks consecutively, has been awarded by Emmy's, Grammy's, Telly's, Dove's, IBMA, and Gracie's for music production in the following genres: Pop, Folk, Kid's, Gospel, Bluegrass, and Jazz.

IMI has been creating music used in TV & Film since it's beginning. The first recording Steve Ivey made while in college was a Chevrolet commercial. Many more shows now feature IMI music such as Access Hollywood, Ugly Betty ABC, Army Wives, Sports South, Simple Life FOX, Coyote Ugly, The Weather Channel...

Wild Animal Baby

1Steve Ivey has just finished writing and producing the premiere collection of music for the popular kids television show, Wild Animal Baby. You can see the show daily on PBS and the music will be available at all retail outlets in September. Performed by the group KidsJambox and features vocals by Alaina Baird and Angela Baird.

Dollar General

2IMI has launched in partnership with Dollar General the new music website DollarGeneralMusic.com. Currently IMI has partnered with Warner Brothers and released Country music artist John Rich “For The Kids” which is a fundraiser for St Jude Childrens Research Hospital and Celebrity Apprentice. More products will be added during the next few months.

Blessing on BRAVO

6Steve Ivey just finished creating and producing the new theme song for the National Hockey League team, Buffalo Sabres. This is some great pump up the house and skate out music. Go Sabres! (well accept when your playing the Predators or the Ravenwood Raptors.

Slidawg has two new releases this fall

7Slidawg is releasing two projects this fall, “The Best of You Might Be A Redneck Music” and Slidawg has been busy this summer collecting ‘true’ fishing stories for his next music comedy recording called “Redneck Yacht Club”. Stay tuned as all of the songs are now being written and recorded at IMI Studio.
